FCA to host Football Power Camp at TTU

COOKEVILLE -- Athletes interested in learning more about football and life are encouraged to attend the Fellowship of Christian Athletes' Power Camp that will take place June 21-23 at Tennessee Tech practice field beside the Hooper Eblen Center.

Each day for campers will include sport-specific drills and instruction by knowledgeable and experienced clinicians as well as lunch, snacks and drinks. They will hear talks on service, leadership, teamwork and excellence.

Each camper will leave camp with an FCA athletes Bible that contains athlete-specific devotions and other useful information. They will also receive a T-shirt, lanyard and a new FCA football.

The day camp is for ages 7-12, and campers will be split into two age groups (7-9, and 10-12) to learn the fundamentals of football.

The cost is $45 per camper, and checks should be made payable to Fellowship of Christian Athletes. If cancellation occurs after June 11, there will be a $10 cancellation fee.

Campers who wear cleats should also bring tennis shoes in case of inclement weather.
