"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the
power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
As we begin a new year, I am reminded of
the hope and peace I've found in Jesus.
There's just one catch to that.
We can't have the peace OF God
until we trust IN God. Trust is summarized
in Proverbs 3:5-6 which says:
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."
May 2012 be the year that we all grow in
hope and peace through the Holy Spirit.
