Student Spotlight- Jacob Harham

"FCA is something I look forward to, it is not a burden. Through this past year, I have grown deeper in my faith truly, gained the confidence to speak boldly about Jesus Christ, and have made new friends along the way. Trace has set an amazing example of what it means to devote everything you do towards the Kingdom, he is an excellent role model and friend. As an upper class men, it is clear that my voice is heard and my actions are seen through baseball, whether good or bad. I have learned that people are always watching and every day I get the opportunity to act Christ like in front of my team mates, coaches, class mates, etc. Every day is important and every day is an opportunity to pour into someone's life in a positive and loving manner. Lastly, tell someone about Jesus every day, something as simple as "God Bless", you will be surprised how much of a difference it will make."

Character Coaching-
Robert and Christa McTurnal

Coach Mike Buck: "This Family has been Such a Blessing to Stone Memorial Basketball!! They have invested in the lives of our student/athletes in lasting and meaningful ways! Coach Christa was someone that our girls felt comfortable discussing the issues they were facing during these difficult times. Coach Robert and even their daughter Charis were always there to encourage and support! We Appreciate them all and their willingness to be obedient to God and Serve our program as FCA Character Coaches!! We Love them, we will miss them, and we wish them All the Best as they move into their next phase of Service!"

Coach Neil Capps:  "Over the past three seasons that Robert was with us at Stone memorial basketball he exemplified what it is to be a godly man of integrity. He lived out that example every day in front of the team. The best compliment I can give Robert is that he has a Christ like servant attitude. Robert was always willing to do whatever he needed to do for our program no matter how big or small. He will be sorely missed and we wish Robert and Krista in Caris the very best in their new endeavor in Virginia. We at SMHS basketball love you guys and bid you Godspeed."

 2020 Coaches Appreciation Golf Tournament

Earlier this summer, we were so thankful to be able to host our first ever Coaches’ Golf tournament at the Golden Eagle Golf Club. We enjoyed the day with 52 coaches and retired coaches, comprising 13 teams. Special thanks to Chick-fil-A for donating lunch and congratulations to all of our winners! We look forward to next year’s tournament!
